Building a huge opt-in list will change your business dramatically and increase your revenue by far. So how does one create and maintain this opt-in list?

Here I will show you the how-to’s using steps and techniques of building your opt-in list.

1. Build a opt-in page with a quiz or a survey.

Having a quiz or survey depending on what you are marketing makes your subscriber feel that he isn’t being sold on something if he opts-in and you give yourself creditability for not trying to sell them upfront.

2. Keep your page simple but straight to the point and remember to give 2 options (where they can sign in and leave their name and email).

The secret behind a successful and number-productive list requires you to provide free information that is both valuable to your subscribers and can truly help them; this will keep them coming back to you for more information. Make your follow up newsletter more than just a sales pitch, but give them what they want to hear and something that is very useful.

I have seen a lot of opt-ins become a sales pitch auto-responder in just 30 days, then they suddenly grind to a halt. This is definitely not good in keeping your opt-in list kicking and “healthy”.

3. Another type of opt-in page can be an e-book you are giving away for free or a monthly news letter subscriber on a specific subject you are embracing.

4. You can also create a page featuring several videos on different business ideas, ways on how to effectively exploit them, marketing ideas or simple techniques to generate traffic to various sites.

Always remember that in giving people something for free, there should be a valuable follow-up which is huge (in terms of internet marketing industry standards) in order to reap immense rewards in sales and profits over a period of time.
